What is an extension cork?

Expanded cork (or smoked cork) is a natural material made from the bark of the cork tree that cannot be used as a traditional cork stopper. Instead of being thrown away, it's processed into particles and heated with steam to expand and bond naturally - no chemicals are used.

The result is a renewable, biodegradable material with excellent sound absorption and thermal insulation, making it ideal for sustainable interior design.
